Scribblygum Weavings are slowly and intuitively woven pieces to carry you through the transitions of life. Hand-woven wearables in the form of cloaks, shawls, body wraps, baby (receiving) blankets; and wares for your home, ceremony, or ritual, as table and altar cloths, meditation blankets, floor mats, towels, carry bags, and soft furnishings. Following the Japanese philosophy of Saori free weaving, each piece is created with natural fibres by textile artist Sophie Marino to be loved and used again and again for generations to come. We invite you to explore the collection of limited edition pieces on our site.
Scribblygum Weavings are hand-woven in an off-grid tiny home in Byron Bay, Australia, and respectfully acknowledges the Arakwal people of the Bundjalung Nation. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
