FAQ

Return & Exchange Policy

At this stage in my business, I am unable to offer returns or exchanges on any of my woven creations. That said, I want these pieces to be loved and used in your lifetime and many generations to come. If you have any questions prior to making a purchase, please reach out – I am more than happy to talk through my creations and find something that aligns with what you’re looking for. If you have purchased something and find that it isn’t quite what you were after, again, please get in touch. I want to have open communication with my customers and hopefully we can find a solution for any issue you may have. You can reach me at info@scribblygumweavings.com

Textile Care

With correct care, my woven creations will last a lifetime. When washing, please use an environmentally-friendly wool detergent. Hand wash gently in warm water and drip dry in shade. I enthusiastically encourage mending any holes or pulls that may occur – these add more character and history to your piece. I am more than happy to provide mending advice and walk you through the process.

Commissions

I would love to create custom pieces for a special rite of passage in your life, or even just a wearable piece in your favourite colours. Examples of pieces that you may like to commission include; a baby receiving blanket in specific colours, woven cloth for wedding ceremony celtic knot tying or wrapping of hands, or a shroud for a loved one’s passing from this earth. Please get in touch well in advance of your occasion as custom weaving does take at least 1-2 months. Customs orders require an up-front deposit payment.
