Ash ~ Wool Shawl

This is a really soft and warm shawl made from all Australian Polwarth wool from Victoria. 

A shawl such as this can be worn any time and would make a very lush meditation blanket over the shoulders.

The raw fleece is processed locally in Australia before I receive it to spin on my wheel.

I used both machine and hand-spun wool in this work to m explore and show-off the textures which can be made with hand-spun wool in a woven piece.
